Our Motto
Be responsible... for our actions
Be respectful... of those around us
Be rewarded... with great treasures!

To bring people together who enjoy all aspects of the hobby of metal detecting.

To provide a monthly gathering place for members and a monthly outing to enjoy the sport of metal detecting.

To teach those new to the hobby about:

  • the Metal Detecting Code of Ethics;
  • the proper use of equipment, and techniques for recovering targets;
  • rules and regulations that affect our hobby, such as where one can and cannot hunt, and how to obtain permission for hunting on private property;
  • how to preserve and display great finds.

To be a resource to local law enforcement agencies for the search and recovery of crime scene evidence.

To be a resource to archaeological organizations for the search and recovery of historical artifacts

To be a resource to the general public for the search and recovery of lost personal items.

To be a leader among other similar clubs, pursuing programs that benefit the hobby and protect our image, as well as benefit our public parks and lands. i.e. Park Steward Program or Adopt a Park, etc.

To have fun, enjoy the outdoors, and meet other people with similar interests.

If you have some property that you would allow our club to detect on for fun, let us know.
